Apple’s budget iPhone SE4, which is now expected to be released early next year, is the subject of competition between Samsung Display and Chinese company BOE for OLED supply. The iPhone SE4 is set to reuse the OLED from the iPhone 14 released in 2022.
As BOE also produces stable panels for the iPhone 14 OLED, the Chinese Tianma aims to supply OLEDs for the iPhone SE4, but the likelihood is low. According to industry sources on the 16th, Samsung Display, BOE, and Tianma recently proposed prices for the OLEDs intended for the iPhone SE4 scheduled for early release next year.
