According to a recent report, the cost of AirPods Pro 2 is $54, while the retail price is $249. This means that Apple has a profit margin of 78% on the AirPods Pro 2. This is significantly higher than the profit margin of 50% on the iPhone 14 Pro.

There are a few reasons why Apple’s peripheral devices have a higher profit margin than their smartphones.
