Samsung’s latest Exynos 2400 made a significant boost in efficiency and performance compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but lacked a quite bit. However, rumors suggest Samsung’ full-fledged embrace of bringing Exynos chips for their Galaxy S24 series.
While Samsung remains committed to its partnership with Qualcomm, reserving Snapdragon chips for the Galaxy Z Fold line. Simultaneously, the forthcoming Galaxy A series will persist with Exynos and MediaTek chipsets.
Why to use Exynos in the Galaxy S25 series
As Samsung may adopt the use of Exynos 2500 chips across the entire Galaxy S25 series, several factors matter. The first one is regarding the dedicated optimization team where reports suggest Samsung has assembled a dedicated team to enhance the overall power of Exynos
The second factor is Samsung Foundry’s 2nd Gen 3nm Exynos fabrication process which Samsung promises to bring in 2025 with heightened performance. Another reason is the use of inclusion of Arm Cortex-X5 CPU core, which is expected to outmatch the CPU performance of Apple’s A/M chip lines.
These transformation shifts indicate a significant leap forward for the upcoming Exynos chip generation. Yet, skepticism lingers regarding Samsung’s purported exclusive adoption of Exynos chips in its next-gen flagship devices
