Samsung’s new ten-core Exynos 2400 processor boasts improvements while it struggles to outperform Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Tech Chap’s recent video shows the gap between performance and power efficiency
A deeper analysis exposes a significant issue when navigating One UI on devices with Exynos 2400. The Premier Rush video rendering capabilities at 3:20 in the video sheds light on a substantial problem. The application hasn’t been optimized for Exynos processors for years, leading to a noticeable performance gap. Even after successful video rendering at 4:08, the device lags persistently, raising questions about the Exynos 2400’s power compatibility with Premier Rush. Galaxy S24+ also shows with battery drain issues which is not much less than the S24 Ultra’s.
It may come to an end at the video that software updates from Samsung and /or Adobe could potentially resolve the performance issue. However, the uncertainty regarding whether these companies will take action adds a layer of complexity to the decision-making process for potential buyers.
