According to a recent report from ithome, Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to bring significant upgrades based on predictions from Haitong International Investment Bank analyst Jeff Pu.

The source claimed, the iPhone 17 Pro series will have a 48MP telephoto rear camera, and a 24MP front camera, a major jump from the 12MP camera of the iPhone 16 Pro series
An upgrade of 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB in the iPhone 16 Pro, enhancing multitasking and the performance of Apple Intelligence
Smart Island Optimization: The iPhone 17 Pro will feature a smaller “Metalens” design, reducing the size of Smart Island for the first time since its introduction in the iPhone 14 Pro series
In addition, there are changes in screen sizes too. The screen sizes will remain at 6.3 inches (iPhone 17 Pro) and 6.9 inches (iPhone 17 Pro Max). Both models will be powered by the A19 Pro chip, built on TSMC’s 3nm process, like the A18 Pro
