For the upcoming Gmail update, Google is introducing a chat UI that is similar to that of social media. With this new experience, you can chat or reply. A new post came from the X/Twitter user AssembleDebug, which shows Google already tested the feature in November 2023 and redesigned the UI of the Gmail app with the upcoming app version of 2024.01.14.599541078.
In the new interface, you will see a reply box at the bottom like Messenger or WhatsApp. You can directly reply through it and send it via the icon at the right side of the bar. On the left side, you have a document attach option too.
Currently, there’s no information on the Gmail update for iOS users.
