The OPPO Find N5, the successor to the OPPO Find N3, is set to launch soon, with a debut in China followed by a global release under the name OnePlus Open 2. A recent leak from the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some key specifications of this upcoming foldable device.
The OPPO Find N5 is designed to be exceptionally thin, with an estimated thickness of around 9 mm. Additionally, the device will include the OnePlus alert slider, allowing users to switch between normal, silent, and vibration modes easily. Improvements in sturdiness and waterproofing are also expected.
The OPPO Find N5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset (SM8750), which is expected to officially debut in October 2024. Xiaomi is anticipated to be the first to utilize this chipset, with OPPO following closely behind.
Both the main display and the cover display of the OPPO Find N5 will feature 2K resolution, providing high-quality visuals. The device will boast a triple-camera setup on the rear, led by a 50MP primary camera using a Sony sensor. It will also include a periscope lens, though details about the third camera remain unclear, with an ultrawide lens being the most likely option. The design will retain a large circular camera bump similar to its predecessor.
