iPhone ownership trends

The study conducted across 47 states in the U.S. with 6,020 teenagers showed that 85% of them likely want to have at least one iPhone. Impressively, 86% of the surveyed showed intentions to opt for an iPhone as their next smartphone.

The current 85% iPhone ownership rate and 86% purchase intention are close to historical peaks but fall short of the record highs observed in 2021.

About 34% of teens disclosed using an Apple Watch, with no change noted from the previous survey, and 13% of teenagers indicated plans to purchase one within the next 6 months.

In music platforms competition, two-thirds of respondents favor Spotify, while only slightly over 30% opt for Apple Music.

Over 30% of teenagers regularly tune into Netflix, and Apple TV+ still struggles with a minimum of 5% daily interest. Overall a bunch of 30% audience is still engaging with YouTube content frequently.
