Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 15 series, set to be launched on October 29, will offer more than ten unique color options, making it the brand’s most color-diverse flagship.
Following last year’s limited edition collaborations, Xiaomi is expected to work with Xiaomi Automobile on exclusive color schemes, further expanding the palette.Key hardware upgrades include the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, a super sunlight display with custom M9 luminous materials, and Xiaomi’s HyperCore technology.
Both the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and an advanced Jinshajiang battery with an impressive energy density of 850Wh/L. The AISP 2.0 computational photography platform, enhancing AI processing speeds by 82%, will support the device’s imaging capabilities.While the Xiaomi 15 series introduces these premium features, rising costs in memory, components, and exchange rates may increase prices. Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO, reassures that even with the potential price increase, starting at around 4,599 yuan for the base model having a upgrade of 12 GB RAM.
Xiaomi’s October 29 event will showcase the Pengpai OS 2, SU7 Ultra, Xiaomi Tablet 7, Xiaomi Watch S4, Mi Band 9 Pro, and smart home products, totaling 16 new releases.
